On the lighter side of life, I'm in a pretty good mood. Music has truly helped with that. I don't think I would be motivated to do anything without my music. On the contrary, I'm kind of pissed at the bleacher report website for saying that Indianapolis Colts' quarterback Peyton Manning did not deserve First-Team All-Pro this season. Ok, yes there were other players who should have made it as well but the fourth quarter comebacks pretty much solidified his spot on the team. Also, he leads in many stats. I can't wait for Andrew Mishler to make it to the big show in terms of being a sports reporter, because there are a lot of idiotic reporters out there who bash Manning constantly. When Brady fails to win games, do you see reporters like Jason Whitlock or Ron Jaworski get on his case? No you do not! It's complete (excuse the language I use here, but it is necessary) bulshit! When Brady and the Patriots did the whole "4th and two" thing, everyone said that they should not panic. Well look now! They got eliminated by the Baltimore Ravens who will face Indianapolis on Saturday night. Yes I am a huge Indianapolis Colts fan, but I am really not trying to be biased in this blog. But it is true that no matter how well Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts play, they will be criticized. As a final thought, I would like to say that Mark Schlereth, an ex-NFL Offensive Lineman for the Denver Broncos, is the worst ESPN NFL analyst that ESPN has ever hired. No one gives a (excuse the language again) shit about what happened when you played the rest of the league and how you supposedly "dominated" everyone else's defensive line. The truth is YOU SUCK! The teams are different since you have played. So stop acting like you get as much money as you did when you played. Thank you and have a nice day. And that's Big Chef's Daily Grill.
P.S. Pray for those and their families in Haiti, as well as Pierre Garcon.
I think your plan to refresh your life is great. It's 2010-a new decade and time to start with a clean slate. I'll support you 100% even though we haven't known each other very long. You're a good guy and I support guys that are genuine and want to be real. Good luck with this new year and know I'm here for you.
ReplyDeleteBtw, let's hope Garcon's family is okay. I saw footage of Haiti and the damage the earthquake has done and I couldn't even watch it was terrifying!
Tyler I'm not sure if you were aware of this but the Patriots as a team struggled all year this year and arguably should not have made the playoffs. Take away the NFLs best reciever (In m biased opinion, at least top 3), add in a horrible pass defense (that got torched by the Saints for everyone to see), and a banged up QB (along with an amazingly talented yet unmotivated WR in Randy Moss) and you can't honestly sit there and be surprised that they lost to the Ravens. Brady doesn't have to prove himself in the clutch as he's done it countless times...Manning hasn't really been clutch in big games which is why commentators, rightly or wrongly, decide to harp on it because there isn't much evidence for a rebuttal whereas if they got on Bradys case there is plenty of evidence of his ability to lead a team in the clutch- on the NFLs grandest stage. You are entitled to your opinions but you have to take in to account these facts.
ReplyDeleteBut I do agree with what you are saying about the commentators...I mean Cris Collinsworth is bad I didn't think it could get much worse. Mishler has to hurry up. Nice blog btw.
